Cool. Kinda looks like spreading disease....

...and this is actually very informative. What the hell are Nazarenes? And, I had no idea that the Pentecostals were so Everywhere.

Hmm, my area seems to be a solid block of Muslim. I gotta say, I don't see it that much.

San Diego has a large Muslim community. They don't advertise it much. There is a large muslim community where I live to. To bad the charts don't cover the non-Judeo/Muslim/Christian religions.

The Baptimentalist church is one of the biggest buildings in town, but my borough still squeaks by in the 0.1-10 category... *whew*

San Diego is apparently a hotbed of Al Qaeda supporters, which is great because it means that although the dirty bomb may enter the port here, it's not gonna get deployed here...

Oh, wait -- the martyr thing. Shit. ;)

There's a huge North African population here, I shop at their central grocery downtown, and they mostly seem to be Muslim. Otherwise, all I see are whitebread Republicans and their Mexican gardeners.

Looks like the Catholics are avoiding the Baptists. hahaha

Wow... I wonder if there's some big Lutheran enclave in/around Nome?

are there any map showing afro-american religious groups ... I think there must be some relevant groups in some areas of the north and northeast and also in south near New Orleans, what you think ?

Well, uhh, it's not like I ever ate a real baby or anything.

Er, a real human baby.

Er... not a whole one, anyway.

Looks like a big stain of rust on this map. Must be all that dippin' in the river.
jackfrost wrote on Apr 19, '06
I'd say they're dippin' something.....
mildlot wrote on Apr 19, '06
Some of 'em are dipping into the sheep, apparently

Explain, please:

With all the Baptists, Catholics and other versions of Xtian in this country... who the hell were the screaming liberal waging "war" on Christmas and Easter??? Looks to me like there's a lot of hokus pokus about nothing, being wagged by a couple of talking heads, in this extremely Christian nation...

And where the hell are the Jews???
vdentata wrote on Apr 19, '06
At either edge of the country, as far away as possible from the Christians...
jackfrost wrote on Apr 20, '06
And where the hell are the Jews???
Looks like mainly, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, and LA.
gomigirl wrote on Apr 20, '06
What about the Scientologists and the Urantians?? (not to be mistaken with Unitarian...)
blighty wrote on Apr 20, '06
Where are the Druids?
gomigirl wrote on Apr 20, '06
In ancient times, hundreds of years before the dawn of history, an ancient race of people... the Druids. No one knows who they were or what they were doing...
blighty wrote on Apr 20, '06

Much like most modern religions (cults).

blighty wrote on Apr 21, '06
Yeah, I guess it's a habit for them.
vdentata wrote on Apr 21, '06
You two should either get a room, or take your show on the road... ;)
mildlot wrote on Apr 21, '06
I was gonna say, 'I'm tonsure of that,' or something equally groan-worthy, but discretion is the better part of humor. Not that I've really absorbed that lesson.
